Dr Ryan Noach is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Discovery Health, appointed in October
2014. In this capacity he oversees operations, clinical services, managed care and claims risk strategy, and also Discovery Health’s supply-side services to members.
Ryan participates on the Discovery Holdings Group Exco, overseeing global group-wide activities
He is the chairman and co-founding member of the Group Operations Forum, representing an oversight and best practice body for Discovery core operations and service.
Ryan joined Discovery Health in July 2009 to lead Provider Contracting and Relations and was promoted to COO in June 2010. During his tenure at Discovery Health, Ryan has led many of the companies’ major innovations including amongst others HealthID, MedXpress and Discovery’s entry into the supply-side of the healthcare system. Prior to joining Discovery Health, Ryan was involved in a range of entrepreneurial activities. He was employed at Netcare in various senior roles, culminating in his appointment to the main board of Netcare as Group COO.
Ryan qualified as a medical practitioner at Wits University and pursued a post graduate career in emergency medicine and disaster management, including trauma, critical care, orthopedics and pediatrics. Ryan was deeply involved in pre-hospital emergency and disaster medicine, and was a co-founder of Rescue South Africa in 2001, a non-profit Public Benefit Organisation providing advisory, training and technical rescue services. Ryan has accumulated in excess of 15 years’ experience in various healthcare fields with multiple entrepreneurial activities punctuating his career.

Sim Preston is AIA’s Group Chief Strategy and Operations Officer. He is a member of the Group Executive Committee with responsibility for AIA’s business strategy, technology and operations. He joined the Group in September 2010 and is based in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining AIA Sim served as a senior partner in the financial services practice of global management consultants Bain & Company, where he specialised in the Asia life insurance sector and also worked extensively in retail banking and asset management from his base in Singapore. He previously spent almost nine years with strategy consulting firm Marakon Associates in Europe, the US and Asia, and was named a partner in 2006.
Sim holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD in France and Masters of Science degrees from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and Leicester University in the UK. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the London School of Economics.

Eli also has extensive experience with free and open source software licenses and counsels clients on matters related to open source use, compliance and licensing strategies. Eli has published widely on legal matters related to complex technology, including three dimensional printing, open source software and open hardware.
Prior to joining Yigal Arnon & Co., Eli practiced for several years at a prominent New York law firm. Eli also served as the editor of several volumes of the Israel Law Reports, the official translation of the decisions of the Supreme Court of Israel.
Eli has been listed in the Who’s Who of Information Technology Lawyers for Israel.
Eli graduated from Yale Law School in 2002, where he was an editor on the Yale Law Journal. He previously obtained a M.S. from Columbia University in Applied Physics and a B.S. in Physics from Yeshiva University.
